A request needs to be made on SecureNow’s support mail ID - support@securenow.in for the same stating the member details and reason.
As per policy coverage, mid-term inclusion of dependents is possible only in case of
a) spouse (on account of marriage during the policy term provided the endorsement is shared within 30 days of marriage)
b) Children (childbirth during the policy term), subject to not more than two children provided the endorsement is shared within 30 days of birth.
After removing the above data, the remaining details shared with the insurer for further processing. Your endorsement will be processed within 7 days (for private) & 15 days (for PSU). It would take 5 more working days to share e-cards with you. Physical cards are no longer required to make a claim. The enrollment number with a valid government ID proof is sufficient to initiate a cashless claim.
The CD balance details is also shared once the details are updated.
Employees and dependents who are enrolled within 30 days of their joining are covered from Day 1, subject to availability of CD balance.
If the CD balance falls short to process an endorsement, the complete endorsement will be put on hold. Insurers do not process selective endorsement, as this entails adverse risk selection.
